Around 99% of MSMEs are microenterprises, and within micro, almost 70% consists of “tiny” units, often called nano-enterprises. It then examines the historical evolution of these classifications and their numerical arbitrariness, and shows that the taxonomy needs to be revised. aCOM aMSME aMicro aSmall aMedium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act aSmall Industries Development Organisation aNational Commission for Enterprises in the Unorganised Sector (NCEUS) aEnterprises cARTICLE 2ddcn0 c79851d79851 00102ddc40708COMaSTCPLbSTCPLcBVSd2023-09-07l0r2023-09-07 00:00:00w2023-09-07yARTICLE
